Gastronomes should prepare to feast with the 14th World Gourmet Festival just over the horizon. A collaboration between the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, the culinary celebration is due to be held between September 2 and 8, 2013. Set to be hosted at the Four Seasons Bangkok, the week-long festival brings together an extraordinary line-up of culinary masters and emerging talents from around the globe. On display will be fare from Switzerland, France, Belgium, Japan, Italy and Spain. Special dinners by French chefs Jérôme Bonnet and David Rathgeber, will be paired with wines selected by French winemaker Pascal Jolivet and Japan’s Master of Wine, Ned Goodwin. The hotel lobby will also host cooking demonstrations by participating chefs in the Gaggenau show kitchen, as well as the World Gourmet Festival lunch and Sunday brunch. Giving a hand to the underprivileged, proceeds from the dinner tickets and the World Gourmet live auction, will be donated to HRH Princess Soamsawali’s Save a Child’s Life from AIDS Project under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross Society.
