There’s a new dining experience at Andaz Singapore – and we can’t wait to try it. Hong Kong-based design studio Andre Fu has created a cellar within the hotel’s steakhouse, 665°F. A modern take on a classic wine cellar, the space seats 20 diners and 400 bottles of old and New World labels, with room for another eight in an adjoining private room. Decked out in burgundy, the cellar’s foyer is anchored by a vaulted ceiling, while the dining room is home to kidney-bean-shaped sofas and ribbed-back chairs. At the far end of the room is the small private dining room, which features an aerial view of IM Pei’s Gateway Towers. A destination in its own right, Fu believers the new cellar is a hidden gem in the city.
