Award-winning Cottar’s Safaris has added two new luxury double tents to Cottar’s 1920s Camp and two fully renovated double tents, all of which are available in time for The Great Migration in July. There really is no better place to witness this phenomenon, as the camp commands a spectacular elevated position within a private conservancy overlooking the first point of entry as the animals cross the Tanzanian border.
The new cream canvas tents will be a spacious 50 sqm, and feature sweeping views across the savannah, gorgeous wooden floors, a sumptuous living room area, ensuite bathrooms and a fully stocked drinks station, all while maintaining Cottar’s Safaris’ iconic and romantic 1920s aesthetic.
One new tent will feature a stunning outdoor bathroom and, in addition to the traditional pop up canvas baths available in all tents, there will be a new, secluded wooden hot tub, set away from the camp with its own private viewing platform, available upon request to camp guests.
With the addition of these two new tents, Cottar’s 1920s Camp will comprise 11 luxury tents, which includes six luxury double tents, two romantic Honeymoon Tents and three open-planned Family Tented Suites, all with ensuite bathrooms, living rooms with cosy fireplaces and plenty of space and privacy.
